Everywhere I go I’m taking pictures in my mind if not with my camera. Capturing the emotions of everyday life, a picture can make any moment special, be they birthday parties, walks in the park, or families eating a meal. Those moments vastly differ in the thousands of little worlds that make up this one planet. Photography lets one share these worlds with everyone. Whether it be at a meeting of people who stutter, a hot air balloon competition, or a county fair, what one takes as commonplace another takes as amazing. I need only go into my backyard to find hidden beauty, so I can only imagine what awaits thousands of miles away.

I love to learn, and I learn best by observing and doing. My dream is to work with a professional photographer in the field, assisting and learning as he does his job. I feel experience is the best teacher and hope to learn and receive guidance from a pro and his experiences. I recently took a photo that fills me with joy and excitement whenever I look at it. Sometimes I can’t believe I took it. I want to share that feeling with others. I hope to share the differences and wonders of the world with others, encouraging them to explore the world themselves.
