A very slow start today as I had a horrible cold the night before. Made sleeping difficult, so I struggled to get out of bed. After crawling to a breakfast of "Special Oat Porridge" (I was brave) and toast, it was late enough in the day for me to have my first hot shower! It is solar-heated, meaning they leave the tank in the sun, so by 11:30am it is warm but by 4pm it is cold (i get back from the office at 4:30). It was seriously a highlight of the week.
With no more worries as to how bad I was smelling I ventured out for lunch before going to the office. I finished typing up and fixing all the english in the welcome booklet early, so I just chatted in broken english to the secretary (I have no idea how to spell her name). The power went out and there was no fuel for the generator so I got off early.
Huddling in bed I watched Bruce Willis kick some ass in Die Hard 4. Just as he was about to reach the baddie for an all-out showdown, the dvd stops. Damn! After several attempts to get past the 113th minute, i gave up and missed out on some classic action scenes. I suppose thats what you get for 50c dvds.
