Getting started requires homework

Getting started requires homework

We have been back from Alaska now for over two months and we are getting restless to see more of the world.  What drives us isn't the explorer spirit; explorers seek adventure and by our definition an "adventure" is a journey gone wrong.  Our trips are taken more in a spirit of discovery.  No matter how well a trip is planned adventure has a way of showing up and with our free-for-all itineraries it is impossible to avoid.

We are heading south of the border to Mexico and Central America.  We hope to learn more about the Mayan civilization, meet the the people living in Central America today, experience the unique (and threatened) environments and maybe learn some Spanish along the way.
