    In an effort to 'appease the Gods', locals sell bunches of flowers to tourists atop the still-steaming, active volcanic rim of Mt. Bromo. As the legend goes, throwing the flowers into the volcano acts as a sacrifice and keeps the volcano from erupting again. by: codename Views[589] Every city has it's character and colour, and the streets of Yogyakarta, Indonesia certainly fit the bill. I'm pretty adventurous, but even I decided against trying his street food fare. by: codename Views[771] Lunch break on the street of Yogyakarta. This man enjoys a bowl of noodles: the spicier the better.
