Quarintened In Nanjing

Well, today we saw four white walls, a ceiling fan, lots of wood furniture and the back of our eyelids. YAY! Thanks to Courtney, who is such a LOSER! I've been getting the worst headaches for the last couple of days, but I just figured I'd take some advil and they'd go away. But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Courtney had to wake up with a 101 fever this morning. What is up with me getting sick at the coolest places we go to? How lame!

Anyway, I took some "medicine" for the fever and so far it's gone down, but I still have headaches. Maybe it's too much MSG or lack of water or the fact that all we hear everyday is horns blaring, brakes squeeling, people slurping their food, yelling at each other and flashing lights. So I guess it's no wonder that my head is pounding. I think I'm just going to purchase a silent proof, diesease free bubble and roll around in that all day. Poor Mel, well, she's regular and fine, but she stays in and takes care of me. It's nice to have a good friend (as she holds a sharp chopstick to my throat).

She gives a Hong shout out. Glad that Steph likes the site. We'll try to post more pictures when we actually get out and do something. We're getting up early tomorrow for about an 8 to 10 hour train ride to Quingdao. It's famous for it's six beaches. And I'm excited that we got our own private room with a bathroom for only 6 bucks each. WOOHOO!

Hey dudes! Thanks for posting photos, I love to see em. It looks like you're experiencing some really spectacular, beautiful places. And by the way, I love the shaved head. I think you totally pull it off,as I knew you would. Hope you are feeling better AGAIN soon and hang in there Mel!!! xo

Oh no! I wonder if your uber-cleanliness has finally caught up to you. Your immune system needed those cracker crumbs in your bed all along. I tried to help.

I hope you feel better. Take care of yourself. No worrying or stress. I love you!

I hope you start feeling better pretty soon! By the way, I gave Grandma Bryant the address for your blog. I'll be going over there in the next day or so...I'll make sure she found you. : )

Hi, Mel! Both of you, please be careful and have a great time! You really will be able to write a book when you get back!

Love you!
Chris

Hi Ladies. I'm so sorry that you're feeling sick again, Courtney. You're such a drag! JUST KIDDING!!! Mel's definitely had her fair share of sick days...she used to force the dog to stay in the bathroom with her for hours at a time when she had her bouts of colitis. Poor thing (the dog, that is). I hope the next few days are better. It'll be good that you have your own room AND bathroom...a private bathroom is key when you're not feeling so good. We miss you plenty. Keio sends her hugs and kisses. She misses Auntie Mel and cousin Courtney. Take care of each other. LOVE YOU!!!Oh...and sorry for Chris' silly comments on your last entry....that's what I deal with on a daily basis...good times.
