    Ronaldo is a Hairdresser, he works in the 5 star hotel on the island. Here he is routinely cutting Mikes hair in their back garden. by: clarahooper Views[445] Every Friday, there is a gathering of gay men on Kealia Beach. Ronaldo always come to see his friends from the area. They light a fire, smoke, drink and mingle. by: clarahooper Views[462] Ronaldo has lost two friends to AIDS. He comes to Anini beach every year to celebrate their life. He also lights two cigarettes and pours to Vodak and Cokes into the sand. by: clarahooper Views[253] Mike finds it hard to go through the whole day without taking a nap. He comes home from work as a Dog Groomer and sleeps for half an hour. by: clarahooper Views[160] Mike and Ronaldo, a couple I photographed in Kauai Hawaii. I wanted to explore their lives and how they lived in Hawaii. Both of them are living with illnesses. Mike has Leukemia and Ronaldo is HIV positive. They are sitting on Anini Beach, where they come every year on Thanksgiving. by: clarahooper Views[152]
