Mike finds it hard to go through the whole day without taking a nap. He comes home from work as a Dog Groomer and sleeps for half an hour.

Mike and Ronaldo, a couple I photographed in Kauai Hawaii. I wanted to explore their lives and how they lived in Hawaii. Both of them are living with illnesses. Mike has Leukemia and Ronaldo is HIV positive. They are sitting on Anini Beach, where they come every year on Thanksgiving.

Ronaldo has lost two friends to AIDS. He comes to Anini beach every year to celebrate their life. He also lights two cigarettes and pours to Vodak and Cokes into the sand.
