Just being in a darkroom with the red light seemed to relax me. Watching the image appear on the paper was like the magic that I always wished I had within myself. I then studied Documentary Photography in Wales. I was quite successful in college getting high marks. For my final project I got a very low mark. From then I lost my confidence in my work. I am quite sensitive, I put down my camera & didnt pick it up for a very long time. To be honest I feel lost. I dont have the confidence in my work. People astound me, they amaze me, they annoy me & I want to capture that. What I want is to relearn what I have forgotten, how to get people to relax & forget about the camera, how to frame my images, how to wait. But most of all I need to learn how to have confidence in what I am taking. I want to become the photographer I dream of, the one who travels all around the world, who gets to photography the most amazing landscapes, the most amazing people & who gets to tell these amazing stories by portraying it in images.
