Women and children suddenly overwhelmed by their curiosity for the camera, in a typical daily scene in Asade village. Asade is one of the many small farming communities with strong cultural traditions settled around Mulshi Valley, in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The region is confined between the biodiversity-rich Western Ghats and Pune City, and is historically famous for being the powerbase of the Maratha Empire during the 17th Century.
