Four Mile Beach

AUSTRALIA | Friday, 20 July 2007 | Views [462] | Comments [1]

Apparently Four Mile Beach is one of the best reasons to visit Port Douglas, and it is quite an impressive beach, though fairly windy and home to a few too many jellyfish, or stingers, to make you comfortable (see Ruth with sign above). We did find another beach down at Anzac Park (named for the combined Australian and New Zealand Army Corps that fought the world wars and a few others) where the wind stayed away.

All very relaxing sitting in the sun, which reminds us, we're both extremely disappointed to hear about the ongoing rainstorms back home. Very disappointed indeed.
