Still phnom penh

Hey just a quick one as the computer is in demand.

Killing fields this morning were completely soul destroying and emotionally draining. Cannot even begin to describe it.

Tuk tuk home and went to the Russian Market to shop and chill out. Visited the national museum which was full of statues from the 1st century. Difficult to reconcile the glory of the orignial empire with the horror of the recent past. Impossible to understand how the people living here can begin to start again. So much anger that it is still unresolved as those responsible are yet to be punished.

Anyway another lovely chilled evening at the hotel. HAve met completely amazing people - a guy working for the peace corps in mongolia and a guy who left finance in London and has a very very interesting job here and is moving to the US next year. So many stories so little time...

Lots of love xxxx

Hi darling Clo
Have been reading about the killing fields - a very modern day holocaust. No wonder you feel drained. You will need some R and R when you reach the beautiful coastline of Vietnam, it looks absolutely stunning.
So many interesting people on the road, I am sure the diary Miss Burman gave you is coming into its own.
Thinking of you always and wishing we were there too!!! xxxx
Becky says is Henry ok , a line or two would be nice to tell her what he is up to !!!!
