So I'm going to have to tear myself away from Siem Reap. It is a lovely city with such nice people. Everyone just wants a chat to practice their english and when they find out youre from london they want to know your favourite football team. Today I hired a tuk tuk driver for $7 and he took me to some temples just outside town. All the temples are so beautiful here but like everything in cambodia there is a sad story to tell. Many were damaged by th Khmer Rouge who pulled trees onto the walls and sold the bhudda statues to thailand. We have booked a bus to phnom penh as the boat isnt running until next month when it has rained more. So much to look forward to! Lots of love xxx
ps my phone doesnt seem to like cambodia so i cant txt. And the internet is slower so I wont blog as much. I think you can safely assume im having a good time tho :)
