Well, after an interesting night at a cliche B&B in Penzance......orange nylon sheets, plastic flowers and garden gnomes in the hall, now thats a story for another time......I flew over by 28 seater helicopter to St Marys on the Isles of Scilly for a summer working at the Star Castle Hotel, Front of House.

The islands are really beautiful....low, bright green with heather and bracken set in the deep blue atlantic ocean its hard to believe i'm still in England! St Marys is the only one with a town....some of the others have no roads and there are heaps of uninhabited islands (how pirates is that!)

Sunny days, sandy beaches.....its all set to be a beautiful summer!
