Unfolding Adventure

As the roar of the crowds and the World Cup vuvuzelas die down, activity of a different kind heats up. My “speaking tour” *laugh* is done for this season as packing for my trip commences. I had the privilege of speaking at nine different meetings over a period of two weeks. I have a sneaking suspicion that is more times than I’ve spoken in my life combined. Needless to say it was a stretching yet mind blowing experience. Each meeting was unique. Some were gentle and quiet while others saw people rolling in the isles under the power of the spirit, literally. I was overjoyed to hear of people getting healed even while I was speaking. Thank you Jesus! This week sees the beginning of the tough road of difficult goodbyes and last time visits. That’s always the hard part. I wish it was easier to just pop home for a quick visit, but alas, Skype will have to do. So what is awaiting me in Kent, UK? Good question. 30 Degree weather, ahhhh After not one, but two winters in a row, I am really looking forward to some good weather. Here’s hoping it lasts a bit longer! Ok, seriously. The time has come to start a School of Supernatural Ministry. I’ll be doing an internship at North Kent Community Church (http://www.nkcc.org.uk/) with David Webster, Kim and Pete Carter. We’ll be starting a school based on Bethel’s 1st year School of Ministry curriculum. This has been a long time coming. I met Pete and Kim in November last year while sitting in the sun outside HeBrews, Bethel’s coffee shop. It was a timely divine appointment allowing me sufficient time to apply for all the documentation required for my UK ancestry visa. How long will I be in the UK, I hear you ask? That is part of the adventure of life with God. I have no idea. The school runs from September 2010 until June 2011. My visa is valid for 5 years. But as I’ve learned, dancing with God can often lead to sudden changes of pace and direction. So I remain flexible and fluid as I step into the new, and as yet, unknown world of life in the UK. The 20th of July marks the start of my whole new journey as I fly from Cape Town to London. I’m very excited to be visiting my wonderful friends in Switzerland and Austria from the 3rd to the 16th of August. With an ancestry visa I will have the option of working part time as the school is running on Thursdays and Fridays. Prayer for open doors and opportunities in that area would be much appreciated. Being able to eat is always a good thing ;-) To my wonderful, faithful supporters I would like to say a big Thank You. May the seed that you have sown produce a harvest far bigger than you’ve ever dreamed.
