This morning we had a meeting with all the international students.  There are about 250 of us representing 24 different nations.  The majority are from UK, Australia and New Zealand and Canada.  There are at least three other South Africans that I could see, but I didn't get a chance to talk to them yet.  I met a few from Korea and there are students from Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Russia, Faroa Islands and other European counries.  Apparently there were students who were turned away at the port of entry into the US so I'm very happy to have made it over all the hurdles and to actually be here.

Hi Ceri

Been thinking about you and wondering how it's been going... then I remembered about the worldnomands link you sent... yay... Wow indeed! You are finally there. Sorry I missed your last visit at Liesl but when you have a little one things are never constant... Seeing pics of LA just make me think of my sister. I miss her so much. It all sounds so very exciting. Will ask the guys at church to also pray for you so that you have as much covering as possible during this time. Look forawrd to keeping track of all that's going on... lots of love,
Debbie
