Seoul: Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong
South Korea | Saturday, May 22, 2010 | 37 photos
I met some friends for dinner at Namdaemun market which is the most famous traditional Korean market. We got to it late at night and in the rain but they were still selling a little bit of everything in the world. From live fish to fruit, to furs, dishes, miniature dog outfits, face masks, purses and swords. We stumbled into eatery alley for a traditional Korean meal and soju! Then we walked over to Myeongdong which is a global shopping mecca!! I visited during the day too but at night it was much easier to navigate through the smaller crowds. Actually a H&M just opened here too!
