The rolling local ferry on the way from San Juan to Omni Tepe. I literally had to hold of for my life!

El Salvador's version of a shrimp cocktail- served at the food festival in Joyoa, a central mountain town- more lemon based than some i've tried and loved by the San Salvadorians, who can easily drive the short distance across the country on their weekends.

Semuc Champay, the wondorous limestone pools of every shade of gree. Perhaps due to the more recent development of a hostel right on the edges of the park, it is now one of the more recommended spots for a traveller to witness, as the journey to Guatemalan highlands is arduous and long, tempered by the glorious views and local dress.
