Amahoro Means Peace

They are experts in the field of basket-weaving. In the most rural areas of Rwanda, you will often find that women congregate and practice their amazing skills with a needle. These talented women gather to talk about their families and at the same time create a piece of work that can later be sold or traded for different materials. Most often they sale baskets to tourists and people looking for a particularly colorful artifact from the very Rwandan soil and crops.
