Today, I awoke to frozen toes, winds, snow/hail/rain and probably temperatures around 40 degrees.  I had to wear my thermals under my clothes today...that is how cold it was.  I got to skype with my mom and it was very nice to see and talk to her. I am very jealous of the temperatures in MA right now BUT the weather will be warming up here soon so I am not too worried about it.  The plan today was to go for another scenic drive and Gareth was going to teach me how to use the public transportation BUT the weather halted that.  So instead, we took a tour of the local brewing factory, Speights Brewery.  I have to be honest, the only thing I was looking forward to on this tour was the free samples of beer at the end! I got 6 glasses! I tried all 5 beers and lagers and the apple cider.  The cider tasted too much like champagne and I was not a fan.  There was also a dark lager that tasted like coffee and I did not like that one either.  Overall, it was a successful beer tasting! Tonight, we are having Lamb for dinner. I have never had lamb nor have I ever wanted to.  For those who dont know, Lamb are baby sheep. Those cute little baby fur balls....so effin cute! It is lamb season right now so driving around the country side yesterday I saw tons of them and it makes me sad to think I am going to eat one. BUT I am being very open minded to trying and experiencing new things in this very different culture so I will let you know how it taste! Tomorrow, Gareth goes back to work and I am on my own. ...what to do, what to do?

Sarah, I love lamb. It is generally a favorite of Greeks around Easter. It can be greasey. There is a restaurant on Arsenal Street in Watertown (The Aegean) that has a number of lamb dishes. Friends and I would go there all the time. I hope things warm up for you.
