This photo shows the hand of my father reaching out to a particularly brave and curious Gentoo chick. The simple composition mimics Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam and shows the risk the chick is taking trusting a large foreign creature and how nature, animals and human can coexist peacefully in the Falkland Islands.
