On Sea Lion Island, a small island in the Falkland Islands, this baby elephant seal let me get extremely close to it. Within its gaze you can not only see its caution and curiosity, but also the reflection of the beach and me taking the picture.

During my time in the Falkland Islands, I found that the Rockhopper penguin is a curious penguin full of humour and bravado. Here the Rockhopper shows its personality, walking along the cliff with not a care in the world.

Using a Fisheye lens, I was able to capture the immense curiosity and beauty of this magnificent black browed albatross. This albatross had just been in a fight with another albatross, at the end of the fight, the bird looked at the camera with a look as to say ‘you wanna go next?’.
