We had a slower start this morning - breakfast at 9am! Roni had puffy 'puppy eyes' even after some sleep, nuts.
Today was a designated 'rest day' and it has been awesome. Hung at home for a bit (actually quite some time) sorting our Bangkok accomodation before heading out. We scoped out prices at Angkor Market to compare with Lucky Supermarket for supplies to get us through Europe before heading to Lucky for lunch.
Chicken and rice time then catching up on photo labelling and the like. Roni skyped her lil' sister Lisa (and husband Dru) while Bray went and got a haircut. On his return he showed them his new look and we labelled some pics etc.
By this time it was getting dark so off to Angkor Mart we trotted - stocked up on laundry soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other essentials before walking home. We had just walked in the door when the skies opened in a very impressive fashion! Definitely monsoon season.
Packed our bags in preparation for 0730 pick up tomorrow - bus to Bangkok. Then tried to decide what to do for dinner... Contemplated dinner here but Bray could smell the BBQ buffet next door so we made our way through the torrential rain and lakes forming.
Delicious! You get to BBQ at your table and Bray worked it like a pro. We both couldn't do the 'buffet' bit justice but we ate until satisfied...Bray LOVING the meat.
By home time the rain had stopped - though it has returned again now - so we popped home to catch up on journals and try to cool our room off :-)
