At our second game reserve, Kariega, there was a large lunch hall that was open to the outside. After we sat down and ordered our drinks, we were about to get up to go to the buffet -- all of sudden a vermin monkey come into the lodge’s eating area from outside. It swiftly swung in, bounced on the floor once, jumped on the coffee table and grabbed two pieces of bread. It quickly looked around, then escaped before anyone could do anything about it. The girls giggled the entire lunch about the thieving monkey. They still bring it up as one our funniest memories so far.
It was quick. He know what he was doing...in and out like a professional.
