    Petrona is originally from Choco, the poorest and one of the most dangerous regions in the country. Like thousands of other Chocoanos, Petrona and her family settled in Bogota. Far from her native Choco, Petrona engages other Afro Colombians in her community to celebrate their rich culture and traditions.
