The final process in the kitchen is to package the bread in a form that is both cost effective and appealing for tourists.

The bakery is a rudimentary kitchen in which the only decoration is a simple family photo and the occasional religious paraphernalia that represents the strong faith present in the Mayan household.

Once packaged, Veronica travels one hour to the neighbouring village of San Marcos La Laguna to sell her bread. Here she sells daily to the tourists in a bid to earn enough to make it from one day to the next.
