    A mahout is taking care an elephant boy. Usually, a elephant starts as a boy in the “family profession” when he is pasted a mahout in its early life. They remain bonded to each other throughout their lives. by: binhdang Views[816] In this picture, a young mahout is learning more english language, he told with me that he want to be better to make conversation with foreign tourists and maybe he will get another chance to get higher position like a manager in the future, by: binhdang Views[393] Elephants are giant guys and they must eat a lot of food per day so mahouts usually wake up in the midnight to take sugar-cane (kind of favourite food) for them. by: binhdang Views[457] A mahout is jumping on back of elephants. After a hard working day for training, practicing, trekking… elephants always are relaxed by bathing on a river or a stream. by: binhdang Views[379] These images belong to my photo essay about the mahout's family living in the forest of Chiang Mai - Thailand. There was a chance for me to learn about the relationship between mahouts and their elephants in a short time - 3 days and also was enjoyed new experiences. The man is a mahout who is training and practicing for his elephant to pass through forest. This image belongs to my photo essay about the mahout’s family living in the forest of Chiangmai. In this project I had a chance to learn about the relationship between mahouts and their elephants in a short time - 3 days.
