    Batam, city like no other Trip to Batam is always fun, many traditional life is still here, old boat, children playing in old boat, many of Batam's native people lies their life in "Water" either as fisherman, or simply build house above it

    In Batam you will see many of this type of house, literally people living above water, and use boat for transportation, I guess they live while enjoying life by watching sunset just right outside their window Views[1051] Batam except having motorized vehicle as transportation, still use old day boat to transport people from place to place, unlike Venice that use Gondola mostly for pleasure, boat here at Batam purely use for transportation Views[966] This picture taken on the same Jetty along with other picture submitted, but this time I found senior man see something in distance, as if he is thinking something, just another angle on the same place, with different feeling Views[548] This mighty Barelang bridge is bridge that connect island of Batam-Rempang-Galang, that's where Barelang's name came from, is a place where most of Batam's people spend their time on afternoon/holiday Views[1696] Kids playing on the abandoned wooden ship, they play here everyday after school, such a joy in childhood Views[714]
