After a quite chaotic organization I leave La Paz on Wednesday together with the two guides Nolberto and clown Carlos, the cocinero Marcial and the two other mountain fans James and Didier.
We spend four really good days in the mountains, having good food, sitting by the fire, escaping falling rocks, stepping up difficult terrain, laughing a lot, telling stories, some suffering from the altitude (Didier ;-)) and of course climbing the summit of this beautiful mountain.
The ending of the journey we celebrate with a good meal where my sister Nicole joines us and the subsequent fiesta de la gran peña at the ojo de agua.
In a few hours it's time for me to say good bye and to return to Switzerland. It's been four great and worthwile weeks with a lot of good moments. Already thinking about coming back :-).
