After some days in the touristic towns Vientiane and Luang Prabang, I had a beautiful boat ride up the Nam Ou to the small village of Nong Khiew which reminds me of the remote areas in Nepal. Just wanted to say that I am doing well and will find a way to cross the border to Vietnam. I will arrive in Hanoi on Dec 8th the latest.
