My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Sweden | Monday, October 11, 2010 | 5 photos

These photos are from my recent trip to Sweden. I was there visiting a friend and I fell in love with the historic beauty and ethereal vibrancy that the country had to offer. The photos that I've chosen are from when I traversed into the Nordic realm known as Stockholm. The photos encompass our trip to Vasa - The old Swedish warship that sunk in 1628, due to its immense size and weight.

I took photos from all around Stockholm, as well as the ferry ride to Vasa, as well as a few of Vasa in all it's unearthed glory. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.

I think I should be chosen for this adventure because I've always longed to become a National Geographic Photographer. I see it as unleashing and liberating a passion onto the world stage - the passion of photography. A passion to capture a moment and have it preserved in memories for eternity. To enlighten, evoke, enhance and evolve our views of and on this planet.

My passion for photography yearns to be brought forth.

Let me show you what I can do.

Thank you.
