The Swedish warship Vasa. Built from 1626 to 1628 this grand warship sailed less than a nautical mile before it sank due to its top heavy build and insufficient ballast. Salvaged in 1961, she now sits in the temporary museum Wasavarvet. One of Sweden's most popular tourist attractions, it's brought over 28 million visitors to view its time tested immortality.
