I'm not sick anymoe! Praise God for days that I have no heacache, stomach ache, fuzzy eyes, constipation, or ANYTHING! Saweeet as!
Daily prayer list is going well. Hopefully I can keep up with it. I'm getting things out of my Bible reading again too. Turns out if I try to read really fast I'm not understanding it. Reminds me of back at Private school when I had one of the lowest reading speeds but highest comprehension scores. I always got that award. It's kind of a problem now though because I read for hours and don't seem to catch up at all. I'm staying either the same or fall behind. Everyday it is different. It's hard though because I'm getting so much out of this. I even quoted the Bible while talking to someone the other day! First time I've ever done that. It's so exciting!
I'm reading the Bible for the first time. I don't want to just rush through and not remember anything. Everytime the team talks about the plan I keep really quiet. It's emberassing how far behind I am. I caught up in Cambodia once because I was sick and when I wasn't out I was in bed not moving. But when we went to Siem Reap and to villages out of Kunming I was so tired I didn't read very much. Now I'm trying to catch up but waking up reading, reading in afternoons, and going to sleep reading is getting me no where! I either give up on my plan so I don't feel so bad about only reading ten chapters a day while so far behind, give up every free moment or speed read and not remember what I read.
I wish I felt it was ok to be behind as long as I'm getting so much from it. Isn't it more important in this kind of school to learn more about the Bible and God than to just read to complete it?
