    They missed the most spectacular happenings up there at the top of the mountain. Though they climb the mountain because this is kind of a pilgrimage. Somehow you have to finish the journey of nearly 3-4 hours from the bottom to the top. by: arugambay Views[564] This is the shadow of the Adam's Peak. One of the remarkable incidents I have ever seen in my life. You must see it by your naked eyes. This was my second visit to Adam's Peak. But I got the chance to see the sunrise and the shadow only this time. At first I couldn't. Though this is a tough journey I felt GREAT at last. by: arugambay Views[677] This is the moment everyone was impatiently waiting for nearly half an hour. Got the first sneak peak of the sun on that day to Sri Lanka. Felt glorious... by: arugambay Views[609] A grandma and a grand daughter are waiting until the sun rises. The little one one wants to play with grandma. by: arugambay Views[543] People from many countries including the locals are waiting for the most spectacular event at the top of the Adam's Peak. It's the sunrise of a new day. People climb 2,243 metres (7,359 ft) to see this and the most of Buddhists do this as a pilgrimage as they believe the sacred foot print of Lord buddha. by: arugambay Views[589]
