Everyday I go to work (as a retoucher) and do exactly the opposite to what I stand for and believe in. I take an image and create perfection to society's standards. Yet, I believe that it is our imperfections, which show our true nature, beauty and spirit. After university, I started to shoot for myself and not a grade, it was only then that I discovered my potential and passion for photography. It is the truth and the realities of life that make this world so interesting. I will continue to capture as much of it for others as I can. Writing to you, I hope to show you that this opportunity would be the most amazing challenge. I wish to see the wonder and mystery of this world; but more so I hope to be the one to capture all of this for others. Photography lets me move people; it brings out a compassion I never thought I possessed. Take me out of my comfort zone, allow me to learn from someone with so much experience and let me see this opportunity for what it is: an adventure, a journey, and a means to grow as a person. There is still so much more to learn, and I hope to keep learning and improving everyday. This is why we are here, to grow, to give back, to learn and to journey.
