I am in Abu Dhabi. This Airport is perfectly glorious, pompous and mesmerizing! but I will only be here for another half hour, so here is an excerpt of my journal, saying good-bye to India:
"I can't believe I am actually going home! I have packed, my stuff is almost ready. The rest will follow tomorrow (sleeping stuff etc.) It has been wonderful. I love this, I love travelling. With all its ups and downs. With all its sickness and uncertainty. With all its life, basically.
But I also miss creating something, having actual relationships with people, and not just daying HI, dumping your life story and leaving, sometimes even without GOOD BYE. Sometimes you feel like those people could have become your very close friends, and you could have trusted them, but they and you are going seperate ways. On the other hand:without travelling you would not have met them at all!:)
So good night, Anuscheh, on your last night in Palolem, last night in India for a while!
PS. Trapping a mosquito INSIDE your mosquito net is definitely not such a good idea...
PPS. On my last day in India I saw my first cockroach....IN MY HAIR!!
PPPS: I like not knowing what to do next when travelling. If someone tells uyou "you have to go here and then take the bus there and then do this", its almost like knowing your Christmas presents..."
