Stay in a place just outside Melbourne called Braybrooke, Big 4 site. Want to get organised for next couple of days ahead, Christmas at loweys and cricket, also get internet and catch up with friends and family. We are about 14km out of the city so we get the bus in to do xmas shopping,
Emma is excited about shopping and is looking forward to finding a new dress for new years eve in Sydney and I am looking forward to yet another aimless shopping trip :) When we arrive we head straight for an ATM and emma is dismayed to find her card doesn’t work….nightmare…undeterred we get to a global gossip internet café and check the bank account , luckily it does have money in it. Xmas shopping ends up on ana’s card!! We finish the day with a Bloody Mary and try calling every contact number possible to find out card problem, turns out it was stopped because it was being over used in a foreign country, surprising that they didn’t think of that 2 months ago when I was caning it in fiji! Our bus journey back form Melbourne was an eye opener as the town we went through (footscray) was full of the dodgiest looking people ever, worse than tamworth (england), we end up both nearly puking on bus from the foul smelling people.
When we return to the camp we realise our van had not been connected to power and have a few hours worrying about what might have happened, next morning we find out it was only a case of flicking the trip switch back on, all that money wasted on a powered site J . Emma had bought some tinsel and decided to decorate the van and make it nice and cosy . Ana takes the opportunity to try and catch up on some work in the computer room at the campsite and while there he meets THE Vicky pollard, thinking at first she may have been speaking in some foreign tongue it turns out she was from London talking at her friend about how she was ‘gonna smash the bitches face in and she wasn’t even lying yeah!’
Night before xmas eve both are very tired from all the travelling and decide to go to bed early after a short shopping trip to super market to stock up on meat for BBQ at cricket and beer for party at loweys brothers house.
