Victoria falls

ZIMBABWE | Tuesday, 4 September 2007 | Views [410]

Arrived Safely in Zimbabwe.  Vic Falls rest camp is v basic but feel safe at night.

Ventured to vic falls yesterday & it was amazing.  Sat down for a while on our own to take in the natural wonder.  As everyone knows this was one of my dreams & I was completley overwhelmed. :-)

The only down side of walking is that there are a lot of people trying to sell you stuff, this can be a tad annoying, but everyone has to make a living.

Food here is hard to come by, we went to but a couple of bottles of water this morning & saw at least 30 people queing for bread.  However we have been able to buy food on the camp site, we tried Ostrich for the first time last night & it was surprisingly good.

We have met some really nice people so far, all giving us information on our future destinations, which is really helpfull.

Tour start at 6.30 tonight so we do not know when we will be able to update again.

1st night camping, hilar!
