Love the comments. To reply and answer a few questions:
1. Randy, i am not time traveling, but apparently World Nomads is a day ahead of us all. This post is Saturday at 09:30 from the Puerto Montt airport. There are people on Easter Island, but i have to say that i haven´t run into too many of them.
2. Dianne, yes, the water is that blue!!! You cannot believe it. So beautiful. I don´t think the pictures captured how vibrant the colors are. The ocean is several shades of blue and the sky and then the lush green landscape between. It is like living in a rainbow.

IF you go there and then click on map or view map on that page, a window will open with a map of easter isand and Chile. All towns i am visiting are on that map (Santiago, Puerto Montt, PUnta Arenas, and the Torres del Paine National Park).
