Ingredients
Ingredients:
½ kilogram of chicken
5 slices of ginger
4 cups of water
½ tsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of pepper

How to prepare this recipe
Place five slices of ginger onto a wok. Stir-fry until the smell comes out with medium heat. Place chicken and keep stirring so that the smell of the ginger gets into the chicken. Add 4 cups of water while stirring. Cook with low heat until the chicken is fully cooked and tender. Add 1 tea spoon of salt, 1 tea spoon of pepper, and ½ tea spoon of sugar. Ready to be served.

The story behind this recipe
I know two things that my Grandma really loved for sure - me and cooking. She was in the kitchen like literally all the time. Her favorite dish was Chicken Ginger Soup. I loved it very much! Around twelve years ago she got stroke, and it impacted her badly. She had a hard time walking. She couldn't cook like before. As years passed, she got better and better, but still she didn't have the same energy like she used to have to cook. Despite that she never forgot to cook for me every time I visited her. She prepared all the spices then had her helper do the rest of the cooking because she couldn't stand too long and cook. Every time I visited her, I always looked forward to her special Chicken Ginger Soup.
My Grandma passed away last year. Three days before she passed away, she made me her special Chicken Ginger Soup which I would never forget how delicious it was. It was definitely the best soup I've ever tasted, cooked with love by the person I love very much. I'm sharing with you this special recipe because I want people to realize that the best food in the world is not the fancy or the expensive one, but it is the one cooked with love by your loved ones. Grandma, thank you for all your love. I know you're happy up there. I bet the Angels crave for your Chicken Ginger Soup all the time.
