A common daily affair that can look a little bit shocking at first sight: ear cleaning is as simple going to the barber.

A woman dressed in the traditional white funeral clothes prays for her dead husband while a monk chants the compassion mantra needed. This wishes him a reincarnation close to the Buddha´s teachings and an existence without suffering. It is part of the rite to burn paper money and other needs for the last journey of the soul until next rebirth.

Cock fights are still part of entertainment for Vietnamese people. What seems interesting is how they patiently paint vivid colors on them to put more drama and emotion into the show.
