    A place to swim and relax is Kabul's reservoir Lake Qargha, also used to create hydro-electricity. Views[1039] A combination of old and new buildings frame the young boys with their herd of sheep and goats, creating a typical Kabul traffic jam. Views[373] Baking bread in Kabul is labor-intensive as everything is done by hand. Each person has his role from weighing, kneading and shaping. The dough is then placed in a tandoor, an underground clay oven for a few minutes. And yes it tastes delicious. Views[662] Practice makes perfect. This image was taken at Aschiana, a school run by a local Afghans to teach street children to read and write while also learning trades like carpentry and sewing. Views[248] Most children especially girls were not allowed to attend school because of war and conflict in Afghanistan. That has now changed in areas of the country.
