A combination of old and new buildings frame the young boys with their herd of sheep and goats, creating a typical Kabul traffic jam.

Baking bread in Kabul is labor-intensive as everything is done by hand. Each person has his role from weighing, kneading and shaping. The dough is then placed in a tandoor, an underground clay oven for a few minutes. And yes it tastes delicious.

A place to swim and relax is Kabul's reservoir Lake Qargha, also used to create hydro-electricity.
