When we walked down for our daily sunset at the Sea Wall, we were surprised to find exposed coral reef instead of water directly beyond the Sea Wall barrier. Naturally, we decided to climb the barrier and explore!
It was so neat to be able to see some of the wildlife up close and personal, sans scuba/snorkeling gear, and still in their natural habitat (not at the zoo or aquarium.) Very, very interesting and fun! Brandon and I both agreed this experience (not to mention seeing a neon blue fish dart past us in one of the tidal pools) solidified the fact that we are now living on a subtropical/tropical island!
And the sunset was gorgeous, too! Check it out in the photo gallery!
