My favorite find of the day, although I didn't bring it home. So pretty! (This is the bottom of the shell.)
Glad you weren't fooled by the flowery-looking center of that seashell! I've seen enough Star Trek episodes to know that if you tried to remove that baby from its environment, that "flower" would open wide, enormous fangs would descend and a frothy, psychotic, hungry alien would emerge. So glad you didn't try to move it away from the water; harmless as they look, pretty as they may be, they aren't friendly and they don't adapt well to interference from he-yoo-mons. Good call! :) Mama (The Sea looks so inviting...can't wait to see it with you & Brandini in just 6 weeks!!!)
