A cowboy contemplates the scene after the muster; the skies, the hills, the heat, this life, this place. He calls this home, this beautiful, dusty sunburnt land.

I used to roam free.
But now I rest here content in my surroundings.
Home to mosses and lichens, kangaroo remains and bullet holes, I am a new eco-system and indelibly part of this place.

The whispering grasses.
Are the gold, and the green of this land.
The slow passage of time here only seen through the rust, slowly creeping its way over the tools of the trade.
