The Long & Winding Road

We were told to wait outside of our guesthouse for a taxi at 6:10am that would take us to the bus station.  6:30 rolls around, no taxi, so I called the bus company to see what up and in broken english they tell me to get their on my own and we needed to be there soon.  It was bullshit but what are you really gonna do.  We had already paid and no one could really speak english that well so we just let it go and tried to enjoy the ride.  Very smelly, cramped bus though and my seat wouldn't recline so I was stuck upright for about 5 hours on the way to Phnom Penh where we had to transfer buses.  I grabbed a seat that reclined for the 2nd leg of the trip from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville but once we started I realized this seat was permenantly stuck way too far back.  Not too comfy for trying to take a nap.  After waking up at 5:45am we finally made it to our destination around 6pm.  Very long day!
