Riding in Chiang Mai
Today we rented scooters and drove them about 120km to the top of the highest mountain in Thailand. The mountain is in Doi Inthanon National Park and has 2 huge temples at the top. The ride there was really fun. We ripped up mountain roads that were pretty much empty except for me and Will. We toured around the temples for a bit but it was so foggy that we couldnt see the nice view I had read about. It started to pour as soon as we started descending down the mountain which made the ride pretty scary. As soon as it stopped, it turned into a huge adrenaline rush flying down the steep road leaning into turns like I was part of a motorcycle video game. The night was spent grabbing some food, checking out the sunday night market back in Chiang Mai and shooting a couple games of pool. We actually ended up back at Roots Rock Reggae which is now my home away from home. Called it a night around midnight.
