Today was awesome! We bailed on the Tip Guesthouse cuz it was horrible. Thanks a lot Bangkok travel agent. They overcharged us for our laundry and we hadn't paid for it yet so we decided to not pay up. They wanted wanted 410 baht for mine and Wills laundry but we only gave them 300 which was still way too much compared to everywhere else. We walked out after leaving them only 300 with them screaming at us that they were going to call the police on us. They were huge scam artists so it felt good not paying them their exorbitant prices. We swithced to the CM Blue Guesthouse which is so much nicer. Our new friend Ping Pong suggested that we rent scooters and drive up to the temple overlooking the city of Chiang Maiwith him. Matheiu, the french-canadian dude crashed his into a wall within 10 seconds of starting it up. Pinp Pong decided that he would double Matheiu around. Hahaha! It was pretty funny. Will and I were fine though, it took a little getting used to driving on the left hand side of the road especially because were in asia where there are no rules on the road. We cruised up the coolest, curviest road at about 80 km/h to Doi Suthep. It was such a fun ride to the top. The view from the temple was really cool too. On the way back down, we got stuck in a torrential downpour which is not cool driving a scooter on the left hand side of the road while trying to navigate crazy turns. Don't worry Mom, I made it and I'm still alive and well! After the rain stopped we cruised to a tiger sanctuary to play with 3 month old tigers. It was so cool! And now Will and I have just singed up for a full day cooking class for tomorrow. I can't wait to learn all the tasty dishes I've been eating for the past 10 days. The Irish guys are going to Laos tomorrow and Matheiu is flying down south to Krabi to do some rock climbing so it should just be me, Will and Ping Pong for a couple days. Pinp Pong is the coolest guy ever. The most sincere person I've ever met. I'm going to the mall to buy a cell phone and grab some food on my rented scooter now.
