After a two day travel and scarce sleep in narrow airplane seats, we finally stretch, enjoying sunshine on the ferry deck. As the ship ploughs through warm Adriatic, I glance nearby slopes of the archipelago islands. Once vibrant and covered in vineyards, now abandoned -- an unsightly eye rest for an occasional passing yacht of a wealthy businessman from the mainland.
