Tela, Honduras

So the key of not getting robbed in Honduras is A. Ride the cheapest bus possible or B. Ride the most expensive bus possible, where they check everyone’s ID coming on to the bus.  Anything else in between it not a very good idea.  Because for fear of thieving of our passport we try not to carry our original.  So no ID, we ride the cheap bus.  For 55 limpiras ($2.50) we go from San Pedro Sula to Tela…..about 2 hours away.  As soon as the bus arrive in the bus station we all hurry and sqeezed on to the bus.  It’s a chicken bus….no A/C and everyone squeeze in there like a sardine.  After two hours of windy and dusty ride we arrive in Tela…a beach side town.
